‘Disgraceful’ – These Everton fans slaughter one player v Liverpool
It was another tough day at the office for Everton in a Merseyside derby on Sunday, as they fell to a defeat once again at Anfield.
Despite playing against an extremely well-rested Liverpool team, the Toffees found themselves on the wrong end of a desperately disappointing 1-0 reverse.
Worse still, it was lifelong Reds fan Curtis Jones who curled in the game’s only goal with a phenomenal effort.
Carlo Ancelotti will have learned a lot about his team after this game, and there’s not much he will have liked. This was a shocking performance from the men in blue.
One player in particular who was below par was right wing back Djibril Sidibe. The Monaco loanee looked off the pace all game long.
Offensively his delivery was poor, while he proved to be a liability defensively. He’s had some positive moments this season, the Frenchman, but Sunday certainly wasn’t his day.
The Everton fans tore into him as a result, calling him ‘disgraceful’ and hoping for his substitution – which eventually came – pretty much from the first whistle.

In other Everton news, Ancelotti has reportedly specifically asked the club to sign a former Liverpool player.
