Everton player hints at Goodison Park exit

Everton seem to be looking at signing a central midfielder in this transfer window, yet there’s one already at the club who is seemingly looking to leave.

Yes, Mo Besic, the forgotten man of Goodison Park. The 27-year-old is currently out on loan at the Toffees’ Premier League rivals Sheffield United.

The 27-year-old is set to return to Merseyside at the end of the campaign, of course, but he seems to be under no allusions about where he wants to be playing his football next season.

“The people who need to know what I want, they know. So we will see what will happen,” he said, as per the Liverpool Echo.

““It’s an unbelievable team, I’m really happy to be here and be part of this.”

Will Besic be on the move at the end of the season?

It certainly seems like that’s what he wants, but is that what Sheffield United desire? He’s not exactly been a regular for them this season.

He’s played 12 times in all competitions, but he’s only started two Premier League games and is yet to play a full 90 minutes in the league this campaign.

So does Chris Wilder want to pay a transfer fee to keep the Bosnia & Herzegovina international come the summer? He’d have to play a lot more games down the stretch for that to be the case, surely.

In other Everton news, the Toffees are reportedly ready to make a loan move for a German international this month.
