Report – Everton first teamer will not leave Goodison Park this summer

Everton will not loan out striker Moise Kean this summer, according to the Liverpool Echo

The 20-year-old has struggled to find his feet on Merseyside this season, and has scored just one goal during his debut campaign in England.

The Italian signed from Juventus in the summer for a fee of around £24.75 million.

A recent report from Gazzetta dello Sport, as per Sport Witness, claims that Serie A side Bologna could be interested in taking the starlet back to his home country in an effort to help him develop his game further.

But the Echo has suggested that there is no chance of the Toffees agreeing to any such deal.

The report states that the Blues signed Kean to nurture his potential at Goodison Park, and are not interested in offloading him any time soon.

What does this mean for Kean?

It’s good news, all things considered.

The Italian hasn’t exactly hit the ground running in England, but there’s no denying his considerable potential, and given time, we could really see the benefits of having a little patience in him.

So far this season, Kean has registered 2.44 shots on goal per game, as well as 6.18 successful dribbles, and an xG of 0.43, as per Wyscout.

Those numbers are beneath his career averages of 2.97, 7.77, and 0.48 respectively, but not drastically so, and there is plenty of reason to be hopeful that one day Kean could replicate and even better those stats in the Premier League.

For now, he is in the best place for him, working under Carlo Ancelotti.
