Report – Ancelotti plots raid on former club in Everton summer swap deal
Everton could be tempted into offloading Moise Kean in a swap deal for Napoli striker Hirving Lozano, according to Italian outlet Tutto Napoli.
The report states claims that Carlo Ancelotti is eager to raid his former club for the Mexican forward, and could be willing to offer Kean as a makeweight in ay potential deal.
The 20-year-old has struggled to hit the ground running on Merseyside, and has scored just one goal in his debut season in England.
Kean has also courted controversy recently after he was found to have breached lockdown rules by hosting a party.
It is understood that he could be fined up to two weeks wages for the incident, while speculation over his future with the Toffees has also mounted.
The Blues have been linked with a move for Lozano before too, with TuttoMercatoWeb linking Ancelotti’s men with a swoop for the 24-year-old back in February.
Would this be a good deal for the Toffees?
The debate surrounding Moise Kean is likely to be one that rages all summer.
Some will say that he deserves more time to prove himself, others will argue that his latest stunt shows he is too much of a liability to take a gamble on.
As for Lozano, he has failed to hit the heights that were expected of him in Italy, but there is clearly still a player in there somewhere.
Last season for PSV he averaged three shots, 2.1 key passes, and 2.2 successful dribbles per game, as per Whoscored, and if he could get anywhere near that kind of form again, he would definitely be a real asset for any side.
