Some Everton fans react as Moise Kean scores first PSG goal
Some Everton fans have had mixed reactions after Moise Kean scored his first goals for PSG in a 4-0 win over Dijon.
Everton’s Italian striker joined the French Champions on loan this summer and scored a brace on Saturday night as he fired his new side to the top of the Ligue Un table.
Kean has now scored the same amount of goals for Everton and PSG this season as he has matched the two goals he scored in the Carabao Cup for the Toffees.
It was Kean’s third appearance for his new side, which means it took him considerably less time to get his first PSG goal than it did his first Everton goal, as he waited 18 appearances to break his duck in English football.
He drew a blank on his debut against Nimes and couldn’t find a way past David De Gea when he came on at half-time in PSG’s midweek loss to Manchester United in the Champions League.
Some Everton fans took to social media to share their thoughts on Kean, with some saying that they want him back at Goodison Park and others dismissing his performance as it was against French opposition.
Here is how Everton fans reacted to Kean’s performance:
It remains to be seen if Kean has a future at Goodison Park, but if he builds on his recent performances, last season’s Champions League runners up may want to make his loan deal permanent.
In other Everton news, the Toffees turned down the chance to sign a £30 million rated goalkeeper this summer.
