Isco keen to join Ancelotti and Rodriguez at Everton – report
Read Madrid playmaker Isco is ‘keen’ to link up with former manager Carlo Ancelotti at Everton, according to a report in The Mirror.
The Spaniard would also like to join former teammate James Rodriguez at Goodison Park as he looks for a move away from Madrid.
The report also states that Isco is ‘no longer part’ of Real boss Zinedine Zidane’s plans and he will be available in January.
The Mirror say that Madrid plan to send Isco out on loan until the end of this season with ‘an obligation from the team which takes him to sign him next summer’.
Interested parties will also be told they have to cover Isco’s full salary during the proposed loan spell and that he will then cost around £18million plus add-ons.
£18 million is a lot of money for a 28-year-old but if he has a similar impact to former teammate Rodriguez, he will be worth every penny.
Isco has made five La Liga appearances for the Spanish giant this season but he has only started two of those games. Clearly, he hasn’t impressed his manager as he looks to move from the Bernabeu to look for a new challenge.
The 28-year-old will have seen how Rodriguez has taken to life in the Premier League and perhaps he thinks he can have a similar impact if he does indeed make the move the Merseyside.
There is no doubting Isco’s quality as he has played a huge role in Madrid’s various Champions League wins in recent years, we think he would be more than welcome at Goodison Park in January, especially if the Toffees are still fighting towards the top of the Premier League.
In other Everton news, Ancelotti has spoken about the future of Moise Kean.
