View: Michael Keane stars yet again to help Everton defence keep Leicester at bay
Michael Keane is currently displaying some of the best form he has ever shown in an Everton shirt and the Toffees are benefitting massively.
The 27-year-old was once again imperious against Leicester, helping his team to a 2-0 victory on the road.
The win means it is three unbeaten in a row for Everton in the Premier League and Keane has been excellent in every game.
As per WhoScored, he recorded a match rating of 7.54 against Leicester, 7.61 against Chelsea and 7.07 against his former side Burnley.
According to Wyscout, Keane made an impressive 11 interceptions against Leicester, as well as five clearances.
The ex-Burnely man was a force in the air too, winning 80% of his aerial duels.
It is a marked improvement on his seasonal averages, where he has only made 4.5 interceptions per 90 minutes, 2.6 clearances and won 68% of his duels.
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Kevin Campbell hailed the form of Keane and said he was ‘awesome’ against Chelsea recently.
It is clear to see how Everton’s defence as a whole are benefitting from Keane’s good form, having conceded just once in their last three league games.
