Everton Super Fans share where Blues should strengthen this month

It has been a quiet January so far at Goodison Park as Everton continue to push for a top-four finish in the Premier League.

As ever, there have been rumours and links with many players but as of yet, we are yet to see any new faces at Finch Farm.

Marcel Brands has said that Everton won’t be signing anyone this January but that doesn’t mean that the club shouldn’t.

With most teams, there is always room for improvement and Everton are no different.

We have seen our side decimated by injuries in the first half of the season and there have been calls for the Blues to bring in some reinforcements this month.

Almost all of our Super Fans want to see a new striker come in to provide back up for Dominic Calvert-Lewin with Cenk Tosun’s performances leaving many unimpressed.

The wide areas were also highlighted as an area for improvement by some fans, again mainly to provide back up for James Rodriguez and Richarlison.

Here is where our panel of Everton Super Fans think we could strengthen this month.

Anything could happen in the last weeks of the transfer window and an injury blow could force the club’s hand.

It is unimaginable to think of this Everton side without Calvert-Lewin and if he picks up a long-term injury it could effectively spell the end of our season.

Of course, we hope this doesn’t happen but it would be a boost to have some new arrivals all the same.

Let’s see what the next few weeks bring.
