View: Liverpool bias on Sky Sports clear as Monday Night Football ignore Everton analysis

You would have been mistaken for tuning into Sky Sports on Monday Night Football and thinking it was Liverpool playing, not Everton.

The Toffees entertained Crystal Palace on Monday evening at Goodison Park, but both Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher spent the hour beforehand talking about the Reds.

Trent Alexander-Arnold has been dropped from the England squad recently, and we were all forced to watch clips of the defender before the Everton game; why?

We got only 10 minutes of analysis from the Sky Sports team, and that is nowhere near good enough for paying subscribers.

No matter where the allegiances of Carragher and Neville lie, they can talk about Liverpool and Manchester United when those teams are playing.

If the topic was Dominic Calvert-Lewin or Michael Keane and their standings in the Three Lions squad, we would have understood.

Instead, we were forced to watch highlights of Liverpool against Arsenal over the weekend, no one can surely have thought that was a good idea.

Everton

Embarrassing.

Who really cares about Liverpool and Alexander-Arnold when he has nothing to do with the games that were scheduled for this evening?

Wolves entertain West Ham later, and the analysis after that game will be Carragher and Neville picking their EURO 2021 squads for England, that is nonsense.

Something needs to change, and the first difference has to be a neutral broadcasting company not taking a clear bias to these so-called bigger clubs, it is boring.
