Juventus aren’t interested in signing Everton forward Kean this summer

Juventus have no plans to sign Everton forward Moise Kean this summer, while Inter Milan have also not expressed interest, according to a new report in Italy.

La Gazzetta dello Sport had claimed on Wednesday that Juventus were desperate to reunite with their former young star, with the Serie A outfit prepared to offer one of four players in a player-plus-cash exchange.

However FC Inter News have refuted that claim, suggesting conclusively that Paris Saint-Germain are set to sign the 21-year old and not the Italian champions.

Furthermore they also claim that Inter, who have been intermittently linked with a move for Kean, also have no interest in approaching Everton this summer.

Neither side is said to have been in contact with Kean’s agent Mino Raiola either, further putting a return to Italy in doubt for the forward.

Kean, described recently by former PSG forward Pauleta as an important ‘physical’ player for the Parisians, doesn’t look likely to return to Everton.

Conflicting messages

With this report we’re seeing essentially the exact opposite of everything we’ve heard over the past few weeks.

Kean’s incredible form for PSG this season was said to have attracted both PSG and Juventus this summer, with both clubs especially keen on a securing a long-term permanent deal.

It had even been said that Juventus could offer Aaron Ramsey, Merih Demiral, Adrien Rabiot or Federico Bernardeschi to Everton in order to see Kean return to the Allianz Stadium.

If FC Inter News are correct and Juventus aren’t actually interested, it does present a much more cut and dry case for the summer.

PSG have been vocal about being willing to spend too and Kean will surely prefer to remain in Paris than return to Merseyside and no one will stand in the way of a lucrative deal.

Ultimately we’ll have to wait and see what happens, but the Juventus speculation had suggested Everton would receive a player in return, so without that the Blues must ensure they make a sale to PSG worth their while.

PSG can certainly afford it – the club is owned by billionaire group QSI.

In other Everton news, an ‘outstanding’ star is keen on signing for Everton as Marcel Brands is given price to seal big deal.
