Confirmed Everton starting XI & team news v Tottenham
Everton have made three changes to their starting XI for the Premier League clash against Tottenham on Friday evening.
Carlo Ancelotti has welcomed back Jordan Pickford, Alex Iwobi and Allan into his starting squad which is packed with injuries.
Confirmed on their official Twitter account prior to kick-off, the Toffees have a very young bench with Josh King and Seamus Coleman the two experienced options on there.
Ancelotti confirmed updates on eight different players in his press conference this week, as we initially predicted big changes.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Bernard, Yerry Mina and Fabian Delph remain sidelined at Goodison Park as injuries continue to make their way through the squad.
Thankfully, there are others returning to the fold.
Pickford, Allan, King and Andre Gomes had all shaken off their problems as they fill the gaps of those previously mentioned, but the Portuguese man misses out.
Points needed.
This is a huge clash for the outcome of the European qualifications spots in the Premier League as we hit the business end of the campaign.
Spurs are in a similar position to the Blues and will be desperate for three points after their thrashing against Manchester United.
Everton are one point behind tonight’s opposition but do have a game-in-hand too, so a win here would put us in a great position moving forward.
