PSG eye move for Milik as alternative to Everton forward Kean

Paris Saint-Germain are keeping tabs on Arkadiusz Milik this summer as an alternative to Everton forward Moise Kean.

The 21-year old striker has impressed during a season-long loan spell in the French campaign this campaign, with a permanent offer from PSG expected to arrive this summer.

Juventus are also said to be keen on reuniting with the Italy international, having been impressed by Kean’s performances both in Ligue 1 and in the Champions League.

Everton

Tuttosport however claim that PSG could look elsewhere if Everton can’t be convinced to sell for the right price, with Napoli’s Milik an option instead.

The Poland international, once considered an Everton target, joined Lyon on an 18-month loan in January, though Napoli could still sell him this summer if they so wished.

PSG forward Mauro Icardi has also been linked with a summer exit with a supposed desire to return to Italy, so the Parisians could sign Milik, previously described as ‘sensational’ by Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti, as well as Kean when the transfer window opens.

However if Icardi does decide to stay put, Kean could have one less possible destination should his loan employers decide against paying Everton’s lofty transfer fee demands.

Transfer merry-go-round

Even if PSG don’t sign Moise Kean this summer we’d be shocked if the Italian doesn’t move on from Everton.

Kean didn’t just struggle to find any sense of form or momentum as an Everton player, he never seemed settled at Goodison Park and you could see that strong lack of confidence in his performances.

In Paris though Kean has been thriving, and it doesn’t seem realistic to expect him to now take that positivity and momentum back to Goodison Park, though Everton surely wouldn’t be against that.

Kean still has a big future ahead of him, being just 21-years old, and he’s likely to want to pursue the best possible environment for him to continue growing and developing as a player this summer.

Should PSG firm up interest in Milik it seems more likely that the Pole will replace Icardi, with PSG seemingly convinced by Kean’s long-term value.

We still expect the Everton forward to bring his time as a Toffee to a close this summer.
