Confirmed Everton starting XI v Aston Villa

Everton have made two changes to their starting XI for the Premier League clash against Aston Villa on Thursday evening.

Carlo Ancelotti has decided to bring back Abdoulaye Doucoure into his side after his major layoff through injury.

Confirmed on their Twitter account prior to kick-off, the Toffees have also brought back Mason Holgate in yet another change.

Yerry Mina and James Rodriguez will miss out after their injury troubles.

The Colombian duo will miss out, but Mina is a new adductor blow that he picked up in the 1-0 win against West Ham over the weekend.

Doucoure has been missing for the past two months, and the signs of him back on the training pitch were phenomenal.

Must win.

Not only do we need to avenge that shocking performance at Goodison Park against the same opposition some weeks ago, but this is a huge game in our push for European football.

Three points would take us back above Liverpool in the Premier League, and level with West Ham as we look to make the Europa League once again.

With Sheffield United and Wolves to come after this, as well as Manchester City on the final day, three wins out of four would likely secure our spot in Europe next season.
