Everton confirmed XI vs Wolves
Everton have made two changes to their starting XI for the Premier League clash against Wolves this evening.
Carlo Ancelotti has brought Yerry Mina and Gylfi Sigurdsson back into the side after the pair missed out on a start in the defeat to Sheffield United.
Confirmed on their official Twitter account prior to kick-off, the Toffees have dropped James Rodriguez and Mason Holgate, with the former missing from the matchday squad.
Cannot afford to slip up
Everton have two games left to save their season and enter the European qualification places by catching seventh-placed West Ham.
Ancelotti’s side slipped down to ninth after Leeds beat Southampton on Tuesday, and supporters will be expecting Everton to put an end to their poor run of home form.
The Sheffield United defeat on Sunday was unacceptable and since Wolves have nothing to play for, anything less than a win here will probably be met by a vitriolic reaction.
If the Toffees do pick up the three points they will increase the pressure on West Ham, who will be aiming to get a win later this evening against West Brom.
As things stand West Ham also lead us on goal difference, so Europe is theirs to throw away.
However, they have stuttered of late with just one win in their last five games, so there is a very good chance they will slip up at some point this week.
