Everton still in talks with Paris Saint-Germain over Moise Kean after big Sunday blow – Romano
Everton forward Moise Kean was handed the major blow of missing out on Italy’s squad for the upcoming European Championship on Sunday.
The attacking sensation has been out on loan at Paris Saint-Germain for the past season and has impressed under Mauricio Pochettino.
Carlo Ancelotti didn’t have the best relationship with Kean during his tenure and is still open to selling the striker this summer.
Fabrizio Romano has shared an update on the plans to sell Kean this summer after he missed out on the major tournament under Roberto Mancini.
“Moise Kean has been excluded from the Italian national team for EURO 2020,” he wrote.
“Paris Saint-Germain are still negotiating with Everton to sign Kean after his loan spell – Everton are open to selling him.”
Goodbye.
Kean has caused nothing but trouble since arriving at Goodison Park, and we haven’t had many rewards from his time on Merseyside.
Having said that, we can still bring in big money for one of Italy’s biggest and brightest talents, regardless of him missing the EUROs.
The forward has been excelling in Paris, and we have to draw out every single penny from the billionaire-owned club in the French capital.
Regardless of our thoughts on Kean and how he has been a big waste of space since arriving, him leaving for a huge fee could spark our activity in the transfer window.
Ancelotti needs to take advantage of this, bring in the funds, and start releasing Marcel Brands in this window; changes are needed.
