Everton left-back Niels Nkounkou spotted in Leicester shirt on Snapchat

Everton left-back Niels Nkounkou has uploaded a clip of himself in a car and wearing a Leicester City shirt on Snapchat.

An Everton supporter shared a screenshot of Nkounkou’s Snapchat on Twitter on Sunday.

Nkounkou, 20, joined the Toffees from Marseille last summer and made just six appearances in his debut season at Goodison.

Not a good look

No matter what you try to make of this, it isn’t really great to see an Everton player wearing the shirt of a Premier League team who is kind of a rival for us.

We want to be doing what Leicester are doing and that’s qualifying for Europe regularly and winning domestic silverware.

We want to be in the top six, we want to win the FA Cup and we want to see the club going in a very positive direction.

Everton

Leicester are doing that and we envy it. We really don’t like the thought of one of our players showing any kind of support for them.

We haven’t seen any speculation linking Nkounkou with a move to the King Power Stadium so we’re not too sure why the Everton left-back is wearing a Leicester shirt.

We’re especially unsure as to why he thinks it would be a good idea to post a clip of himself wearing their shirt on social media.

It’s an odd one, that’s for sure.

But it’s not as though it’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin wearing a Liverpool shirt so we’re not really angry about this. Just confused, more than anything.
