Report: Everton make proposal to Aaron Ramsey’s agent
Everton have reportedly made an offer to Aaron Ramsey’s agent as they look to capitalise on the fact the Welshman is eyeing a Premier League return.
According to Italian media outlet Il Bianconero, the player wants a move to England amid reports that Arsenal are interested in his services.
It’s also reported that ‘proposals’ from Everton and West Ham have landed on his agent’s desk as they’re also keen on signing the former Arsenal midfielder this summer.

Could be tricky
It’s never easy signing a player who has his heart set on a particular club. That is currently the case with Ramsey and Arsenal.
The Welshman enjoyed a number of good seasons at the London club and is adored by the Gunners faithful.
Given their midfield deficiencies, they’re certainly going to sign a midfielder this summer, and the opportunity to reunite with Ramsey has presented itself which will be hard to pass up on.
He is a quality player and is held in high regard by Cesc Fabregas who referred to him as ‘Sensational’. [BT Sport 29/05/19, via Wales Online]

If the Gunners take a while to get things going, we can move forward and begin working on the player and trying to convince him to join us.
Everton, in many ways, are in the same situation as Arsenal, and an argument could be made that we’re actually looking forward and building for the future, unlike the Gunners.
Once our new manager is appointed, we’ll have a clearer idea of which players will fit in, but if it’s someone with the pull of Carlo Ancelotti, then signing Ramsey is certainly something we see happening.
As things stand, we’ve made our intentions clear and have established contact with his agent and even tabled our offer.
The player is desperate to leave Juventus so that opens the door for us should Arsenal pass up on him.
