Everton fans leave disgraceful banner outside Rafa Benitez’ home

Everton are closing in on announcing the appointment of Rafa Benitez this week, and some fans can’t seem to accept that.

The Spaniard has obviously managed Liverpool in the past, and the Goodison Park faithful have questioned that decision.

Protests have been ignored by Farhad Moshiri, with the appointment set to take place today or tomorrow.

Some disgraceful fans have taken matters into their own hands though.A banner has been shared on Twitter this morning outside of the house of Benitez, which he shares with his wife and kids.

“We know where you live,” it shockingly wrote.

“Don’t sign.”

Bang out of order.

Some things are far bigger than football, and this is simply so far past the line that the police have to get involved.

What are these fans going to do? The family of Benitez will be terrified, and this is more than disgraceful.

The Spaniard has clearly impressed the board in his interviews in the past month and is being employed on merit, having won everything there is to win nearly.

What happens if he comes to Goodison Park and wins silverware? Will these fans instantly turn into his biggest fans?

The likes of Carlo Ancelotti have tried and failed, so Benitez must be given that chance to do the same by everyone at the club.

As mentioned, some things are bigger than football, and this is simply disgraceful – if those responsible are found, they must be banned for life.

Later reports suggested it was the wrong house, which still doesn’t excuse the act, that was purposely left for many to see.
