Thomas Tuchel demands Chelsea sign Everton star Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Thomas Tuchel has demanded that Chelsea sign Everton forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin this summer.

That’s according to Ekrem Konur, who reported that the German isn’t happy with Tammy Abraham and Michy Batshuayi.

Talks have not taken place, but are expected by the journalist who has over 100,000 followers on his social media.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Konur shared the major update that will leave Everton fans biting their nails.

“Dissatisfied with Tammy Abraham and Michy Bathsuayi, Thomas Tuchel asked for the transfer of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, with the exception of Erling Haaland,” he wrote.

“There have been no formal talks with Everton yet but talks are expected to begin soon.”

No chance.

If Benitez wants any kind of success at Goodison Park, this is one move that can’t be allowed to happen this summer.

Selling some players will be inevitable, but we have to keep our best options, especially when it is a Premier League rival interested.

Calvert-Lewin is currently away with England at the EUROs, but he hasn’t made much if any impact so far for Gareth Southgate.

Benitez will need to talk to each member of his squad, something he has done with Jordan Pickford, so we assume the same happening with Calvert-Lewin.

It would take mega-money for us to part ways with our main striker, and that is something Chelsea could offer.

We have to stay strong and swipe away any offers for Calvert-Lewin, who will be our main man under Benitez, remember the wonders he worked with Solomon Rondon at Newcastle.

Look elsewhere, Tuchel.
