Jamie Carragher stunned by Jordan Pickford at EUROs
Jamie Carragher has been left stunned by the performances of Everton keeper Jordan Pickford for England at the EUROs.
The Three Lions are yet to concede a single goal in the tournament ahead of their quarter-final tie with Ukraine this evening.
Pickford has been pivotal to that, making critical saves in the games against Scotland and Germany in this journey.

Writing in his Sky Sports column, Carragher waxed lyrical of the Toffees stopper, who has been in the form of his life.
“Pickford – outstanding,” he wrote.
“I think you could argue that Jordan Pickford has been the best goalkeeper in the tournament or certainly close to it. He has not conceded a goal and he has made vital saves when called upon.
“When you think about Jordan Pickford in an England shirt, he has never let England down. He has done more than not let them, he has been outstanding.”

Pivotal.
Pickford has easily been the keeper of the tournament so far.
It would be incredible if he could go throughout the entire EUROs without conceding a goal, and it is definitely possible.
Without getting ahead of ourselves, if we beat Ukraine this evening, we will then play the Czech Republic or Denmark in the semi-finals.
That leaves a potential final against either Italy or Spain, and despite them being strong, it is only one game and anything could happen.
One thing that has impressed us is Pickford’s attitude despite few moments of being busy, he is always on the case of the defence, making sure no mistakes happen.
This will hopefully help Pickford return to Goodison Park and use this in the Premier League, something that has been missing in recent years.
Rafa Benitez has already been on the phone with his new keeper, and he will be delighted with what he has seen so far.
