Everton and PSG in advanced talks over possible Moise Kean permanent transfer
Paris Saint-Germain and Everton are in advanced talks over a permanent deal for Moise Kean, according to Rudy Galetti.
The Toffees are keen to sell the Italy international who has made it known he wants to join PSG [Mirror], and both clubs could soon strike a deal.
The Italian journalist, who often appears on TV dello Sport, took to his personal Twitter account to provide an update, claiming Kean’s move to Parc des Princes could fetch Everton up to £43million.
Good riddance
Kean struggled to adapt to the Premier League upon arriving at Goodison Park in August 2019 for an initial £29million [Guardian], and he clearly is not looking to return after spending last season on loan with the French giants.
The Italy international has tasted Champions League football again having done so while at Juventus and we understand why he would prefer to remain with the likes of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
It has simply not work out at Everton, and we really doubt if the youngster can cut it in the Premier League.
We could do with some additional transfer funds right now, and selling him for a profit would be good business.
New Toffees boss Rafa Benitez is expected to bring in another striker to provide Dominic Calvert-Lewin with quality competition and cover.
We would not consider Kean as bad business, but we definitely had high hopes for the 21-year-old given his obvious potential and talents.
He proved himself at PSG last term, and we would gladly cash in on him if the billionaire-owned club are willing to meet our demands.
