Roy Keane & Gary Neville slam Jordan Pickford for England v Denmark
Roy Keane and Gary Neville both destroyed Everton keeper Jordan Pickford on Wednesday evening for England against Denmark.
The Toffees stopper conceded his first goal of the entire tournament when Mikkel Damsgaaard fired home a free-kick from nearly 30 yards.
Keane insisted that Pickford was “sloppy” despite him already taking home the Golden Glove in the EUROs this week.

Speaking during the break on ITV, Keane started the criticism when analysing the goal from Damsgaard.
“It’s just really sloppy from Pickford,” he said.
Neville jumped on the bandwagon, and also heavily slammed the Toffees stopper for his positioning before the ball was even hit.
“It’s a long way out,” he said.
“I always think if the ball goes in the corner then there is no problem, but it’s in the centre of the net, and the goalkeeper has got to save that.”

Harsh.
Pickford has had a perfect tournament so far this summer, and it appears harsh to jump on the criticism bandwagon when one goal goes in.
We do have to admit that it was poor positioning, though.
The Everton keeper is his own biggest critic, he won’t need to be told that he wasn’t up to scratch for that free-kick.
Pickford did bounce back though and made some good saves, as well as clearances from set-pieces and corners throughout the game.
Keane and Neville aren’t afraid to pick out bad parts of a players game, and we hope that they continue to praise Pickford should he save England yet again, as he has numerous times this summer.
It ended in jubilation though, as Pickford will take place in our first major tournament final in over 50 years – he fully deserves it, bring it home.
