There is an open line of communication between Everton and Norwich City over right-back Max Aarons, claims 90min.

The Toffees remain very much keen on the 21-year-old, and the newly-promoted side are open to selling him in excess of £25million.

Aarons is expected to leave Norwich this summer, but whether the Goodison Park outfit are ready to meet the Canaries demands remains to be seen.

We asked our esteemed panel of Everton Super Fans over on Facebook what they think of landing the England youth international for the quoted fee.

One wants the club to pay the money, while another reckons using the out-of-favour Jonjoe Kenny as a makeweight in a player-plus-cash deal would be perfect.

Here is what they said:

Everton badly want to bring in a new player in that position and have also been linked with PSV right-back Denzel Dumfries.

While the Netherlands international impressed for his country at the European Championship, we know better than to judge a player off the back of a good tournament.

Dumfries could prove to be a solid addition, but he is untested in a league as tough as the English top-flight.

Aarons has the experience and is highly-rated by Norwich and those in the England set-up.

The youngster has often been linked with Tottenham Hotspur and was also on the radar of the likes of Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Manchester United [Daily Mail].

These clubs make their findings and do due diligence on their transfer targets, and that they have been linked with Aarons speaks volumes.

We believe £25million is a fair deal for such a player, and the Toffees should not hesitate to go after him now.

The youngster could be commanding double of that in a few years should he start fulfilling his huge potential, and we could regret not landing him for his current valuation by then.
