Everton want to sign Marco Asensio this summer
Everton are plotting a raid to sign Real Madrid winger Marco Asensio this summer, according to Fichajes.
The Spanish outlet have reported on their website that Carlo Ancelotti doesn’t trust the player and needs to sell to raise funds.
The Toffees are joined by Leeds and Leicester City, as the competition starts to heat up in the Premier League.

It is reported that offers have been tabled, but it hasn’t been shared if those were placed from those mentioned.
Asensio is currently away at the Olympics but has failed to impress in Spain’s run to the semi-finals in the past week.
With the Premier League starting in less than two weeks, it appears unlikely that any move will be completed imminently.
Ancelotti appears desperate to get rid, and Rafa Benitez is said to fancy Asensio as a potential replacement for James Rodriguez.
Come and get me.
Asensio will surely be desperate to get away from the Bernabeu, especially given Ancelotti’s reported stance this week.
The winger may not be as creative as Rodriguez, but bringing in someone who can consistently perform without injuries every other week will be worth its weight in gold.
The 25-year-old scored five goals and added a couple of assists in his 35 appearances last season, but 14 of those were off the bench.
Playing consistently in the Champions League will bring great experience to Goodison Park if we can win the race for his signature.
Much appears to depend on the future of Rodriguez, though, and that looks far from straightforward between now and the end of the window.
