Kevin Campbell thrilled by latest Everton-Joaquin Correa update
We’re delighted to welcome former Everton striker Kevin Campbell as our exclusive columnist. Each week the former Toffees captain will be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Goodison Park…
Kevin Campbell has insisted that Everton would be buzzing to sign Lazio forward Joaquin Correa this month.
Alfredo Pedulla reported over the weekend that both Lazio and Correa are happy with what the Toffees have offered, and now it is down to them.
It is suggested that much will depend on what Inter Milan do next, but Campbell believes it could be the perfect signing.

Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Campbell said, “Another forward, it makes sense.
“If Richardson and Calvert-Lewin don’t score, Everton struggle. It was a great strike by Doucoure last week, but he’s not going to get double figures.
“You get someone else who can score, all of a sudden, opposition teams have got a problem. If you’ve got another forward who can pick up the slack, you’re buzzing.“

Get it done.
We have already lost out on Denzel Dumfries to Inter Milan this summer, and we can’t miss out on another major signing.
Correa is definitely needed, with Rafa Benitez crying out for reinforcements in the final third to challenge Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Moise Kean has been heavily linked with an exit, as well as James Rodriguez, and if both leaves, a major signing is needed.
The South American would be just that, and that is why a reported £30million-plus is on the table.
It’s time to get it done, there are no excuses.
