Michael Ball urges Everton to cash in on Moise Kean with Inter Milan keen

Michael Ball has urged Everton to cash in on Moise Kean as Inter Milan look to bring the Italian international striker back to the Serie A.

According to Sky Sports, the San Siro outfit are keen on the 21-year-old, and his agent Mino Raiola has held talks with them during the negotiations that saw the Netherlands international Denzel Dumfries swap PSV Eindhoven for the club.

Having sold Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea for £97.5million [Sky Sports], Inter have a lot of cash to spend to bolster their squad, and Ball believes the Toffees have a chance to make a lot of money from a potential sale of Kean.

The former left-back told Football Fan Cast: “Can Everton be quite clever and quite cute with Inter Milan, knowing that they’re going to get a big chunk of money for Lukaku?

“Everton could get in there and demand a big fee, maybe with a sell-on as well, to get that transfer fee over the line.”

Exit still on?

Kean wants to leave Goodison Park and would have preferred to join Paris Saint-Germain after impressing on loan last term.

However, we do not see that happening again following the arrival of Lionel Messi.

Inter have also brought in Edin Dzeko, and that further deals a blow on the youngster’s chances of leaving Merseyside this summer.

With barely a week left in the summer transfer window, Kean is running out of all the options and time and will likely remain with Rafa Benitez’s side until January.

While he remains a talented striker, Inter clearly wanted a more experienced hitman to replace Lukaku.

Whether they would have been willing to pay top dollar for his signature is unknown, but there is a limit to the fee which such a player can command right now.

Nevertheless, nothing can be ruled out yet until the window shuts.

We still need to let go of some high earners and maybe get a major sale done in order to balance the books, and Everton would be more than willing to cash in on Kean if a juicy offer comes in.
