Everton have bid for Daniel Jebbison rejected

Everton have had a £5million bid for Daniel Jebbison rejected by Sheffield United, according to a report from TEAMtalk.

They claim that the Toffees’ initial offer of £5million plus add-ons has been turned down by the Blades though they remain open to selling the 18-year-old forward.

The report also states that Everton are prepared to return with an improved offer, so they could yet get their man before the transfer window closes.

Will the Toffees sign Jebbison?

The 18-year-old scored five goals in eight games for both the Blades’ first-team and youth teams last season, including a goal against Everton in the Premier League.

So, it is clear to see why the Toffees would want Jebbison, and it appears as if they could go back in with another offer.

The 18-year-old is very highly rated and has been described as “fantastic” by Micah Richards [Sky Sports via YorkshireLive 16/05/2021].

He could provide a great backup for Dominic Calvert-Lewin if the Toffees don’t manage to bring in another first-team forward.

Jebbison has only played once in the Championship for the Blades this season, who have started the campaign poorly, and it looks as if they could cash in on the young forward as well.

This could be a very exciting signing for the Toffees, and we hope that they make another bid for him before the transfer window closes.

In other Everton news, the Toffees want to sign an international striker.
