Kaveh Solhekol: Everton want Celtic forward Odsonne Edouard
Everton want to sign Celtic forward Odsonne Edouard on loan and have sounded out the Scottish side about a deal, according to Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol.
The Frenchman, who was born in French Guiana (South America), appears open to leaving Parkhead this summer having been regularly linked with an exit, and the Toffees appear keen on a deal.
Solhekol posted on his personal Twitter account on Friday evening. He said: “Everton have sounded out Celtic about a deal for French forward Odsonne Edouard.”

Odsonne has proven himself in the Scottish Premiership over the last four seasons, and a chance to seal a dream move has presented itself.
Rafa Benitez wants more attacking firepower at Everton and it seems he is prepared to lose the wantaway Moise Kean.
Odsonne has what it takes to give Dominic Calvert-Lewin a run for his money, but whether the Toffees can get a deal done remains to be seen.
Celtic are more likely to be open to doing a deal on a permanent basis as they need funds to strengthen their squad.
However, Everton are not able to do that right now given their need to adhere to financial fair play rules.
A loan with an obligation to buy could be a better deal for Celtic to accept, and the striker would surely be keen on finally making the move to the Premier League.
With 57 league goals in 93 appearances to his name in the Hoops colours, the Paris Saint-Germain academy graduate can help boost the Toffees’ chances of breaking into Europe this season should a move work out and he hits the ground running at Goodison Park.
