Sheffield United yet to respond to £5m Everton bid for Daniel Jebbison
Sheffield United have not yet responded to a £5million bid tabled by Everton for 18-year-old striker Daniel Jebbison, according to The Liverpool Echo.
The report states that silence from the Blades means that the Toffees will have to table a bigger bid if they are to sign the Canada-born attacker who represents England at the youth level.
Rafa Benitez is understood to be keen on the striker and has been studying his game recently as he believes he can make him a top-flight number nine.

Must sign him
Everton aren’t in dire need of strikers, but they must not pass up on the opportunity of signing a player of his calibre.
Last season, he became the youngest ever player to score in the Premier League on his full debut when he found the back of the net on his first start in the English top flight.
The Blades wanted to loan him out to Sunderland this summer, but the Toffees’ interest could see them willing to sell him.
However, they clearly value the 18-year-old more than the £5million Everton have put on the table.

Given Benitez’s interest coupled with Moise Kean’s seemingly imminent exit, with him being in advanced talks with Juventus, according to Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol.
Jebbison may be part of the first-team picture with Benitez using him sparingly and giving him a chance in the cup games, but that would be ideal for him at that age and maybe in a couple of years, he could look for regular playing time in the Premier League.
