Alan Myers: Moise Kean to have Juventus medical on Sunday, Everton incomings expected

Everton forward Moise Kean will have his medical on Sunday in Turin ahead of a move to Juventus, according to Sky Sports editor Alan Myers.

The 21-year-old Italy international is expected to return with his old club without an obligation to buy, and his exit could spark some arrivals at Goodison Park.

Myers took to his personal Twitter account to post after the Toffees game with Brighton on Saturday evening:

“Kean will have a medical in Turin tomorrow.”

Asked by a Gary Mc whether it was a loan or a permanent move, and he replied:

“Loan with obligation I believe.”

An Everton fan Matt also wanted to know how many players the club would get in once Kean leaves, and Myers replied:

“Depends on how many go out, and that is more difficult to answer.”

Hope

The Toffees are letting the wantaway forward leave, and while they are only likely to get a loan fee for him this summer, taking him off the wage bill should allow manager Rafa Benitez bring in a replacement.

The Spaniard has only made two outfield signings since becoming Everton boss, and he needs to get more in before next Tuesday’s transfer deadline.

With Kean set to return to Italy, the Toffees will hope they can get a move sorted for James Rodriguez too.

The Colombian was not included in the squad against Brighton and is expected to be off in the coming days.

That would come as additional boost given that he is the club’s highest-paid player.

Everton majority owner Farhad Moshiri is keen to spend this summer as he has done in every transfer window since taking over of the club, but that has not been possible due to financial fair play rules.

However, a lot could change if Kean, Rodriguez and one or two others can secure exits before the end of the month, and Benitez will be counting on that in order to further strengthen his team.

In other Everton news, super agent has told the Toffees to sign a replacement for player amid major development.
