Everton have confirmed their starting XI against Brighton
Rafael Benitez has expectedly made eight changes to his Everton team that beat Huddersfield Town in the Carabao Cup in midweek.
Unsurprisingly, Jordan Pickford has returned in goal while Seamus Coleman, Mason Holgate, and Lucas Digne come back into the side to play alongside Michael Keane.
In midfield, Abdoulaye Doucoure returns after his strong start to the season with one goal and one assist, and Allan will partner him.
Tom Davies provided an assist against the Terriers, but he hasn’t done enough to earn a spot in the squad.
On the wings, Demarai Gray is back while Andros Townsend is on the other wing.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin leads the line after two goals in his first two league games, and behind him is Richarlison despite strong interest from PSG.
Will Everton have enough to beat Brighton?
The Toffees have started the season well, picking up four points from two; however, the Seagulls have won both of their opening league games and head into this one full of confidence.
However, Benitez has picked a strong team, and if they perform to the levels that they have shown already, they should leave the Amex with at least a point.

Gray, Calvert-Lewin, and Richarlison have looked very lively so far, and they should cause the Brighton backline plenty of problems, and if things are going wrong, the Spaniard has … and … on the bench.
This should be a fascinating game, and we can’t wait to see how Benitez does against Graham Potter.
In other Everton news, the club are plotting a move for an England international.
