Everton in line for windfall as Nikola Vlasic nears £25.7m West Ham move
Everton are in line to receive a multi-million windfall as Nikola Vlasic closes in on a £25.7million move to West Ham.
The Guardian has reported today [Sunday, 29/08/21] that the 23-year-old CSKA Moscow attacker is on the verge of a West Ham transfer with ex-Blues boss David Moyes driving the Irons pursuit of the Croatia international.
The deal to take Vlasic is said to include £8m in add-ons.

Everton are set to profit from Vlasic’s move to their Premier League rivals due to a reported sell-on fee they inserted in the deal that saw him leave Goodison Park on a permanent deal in 2019.
According to the Express [03/21] earlier this year, the Blues are entitled to a “small unknown share, likely to be between 10 and 20 per cent”.

Kerching
There are a few ways to look at this potential deal.
Firstly, it’s good news for Everton that they will rake in some money for a player that left the club a long time ago now.
If the fee is indeed over £25million, they could net at least £2.5million, and potentially hitting the £5million region.
However, the negative aspect is that there will be those that question how quick the club were to abandon the Croatia international after his initial struggles to adapt to life in England.
Furthermore, some might say that he was not even given a proper chance at Goodison Park and left far too early.
It will be interesting to see him at West Ham after developing in Russia for a few years and establishing himself as one of the best players in that league.
In other Everton news, Blues bid for this international attacker is in danger of a late collapse amfter major complications in talks.
