Moise Kean ‘extremely close’ to Everton exit – Alan Myers
Moise Kean is “extremely close” to leaving Everton and joining Juventus in a loan-to-buy deal, according to Sky Sports reporter Alan Myers.
Writing via his personal Twitter account on Monday night, Myers reported that Kean, 21, is set to return to Juve in a deal worth up to £30million.
Myers added in another tweet that the £30million is the total sum of money agreed for the transfer.
Huge money
Despite how poorly he’s done for Everton, it’s good to see that the club may not be losing money on Kean.
Everton signed Kean from Juventus for £29million two years ago before add-ons. However, due to how underwhelming the Italian has been on Merseyside, it’s unlikely that those add-ons were ever triggered.
Sure, Kean did well on loan at Paris Saint-Germain last season but you could stick Tony Hibbert up front in that team and in that league and he’ll grab you a goal haul hitting double digits.
Kean’s time at Goodison hasn’t been as special as we would have hoped and it’s good to see he’s going out and raising some funds for us in the process.

It remains to be seen how much cash Rafa Benitez will be getting up front for Kean but there should hopefully be enough to ensure he can seal a deal or two on deadline day.
This is a massive transfer for Everton because the door is now wide open for Benitez to make some last-ditch additions.
With Demarai Gray already doing so well in blue, we’re excited to see how Benitez can utilise his expertise alongside Marcel Brands to bring in someone else.
In other Everton news, the Blues are ready to offer a two-year deal to sign this new player on deadline day.
