Luis Diaz can join Everton before deadline if Mbappe completes Madrid move
Everton could still seal a late move for Porto attacking midfielder Luis Diaz before tonight’s summer transfer deadline, according to Record.
However, it all depends on Kylian Mbappe potentially joining Real Madrid from Paris Saint-Germain, with that expected to trigger a move for Toffees attacker Richarlison by the French giants.
A deal for the Brazilian would financially equip Everton to match Porto’s £34.3million asking price for Diaz, around half of the release clause slapped on the 24-year-old Colombian international.
Madrid moving for Mbappe looks off the cards, but negotiations could resume in the remaining hours left in the window, and Porto would be made aware in time if PSG will move for Richarlison as they have a good relationship with his agent.
