Everton will continue to watch Daniel Jebbison this season

Everton will continue to scout Sheffield United forward Daniel Jebbison this season, according to The Star.

The young sensation was subject of a rejected Toffees bid last month and instead joined Burton Albion on loan.

Rafa Benitez is said to be a big fan of the forward who scored on his Premier League debut at Goodison Park last season.

The rejected bid was said to be worth up to £5million with add-ons on top of that, with the Toffees looking for more young talent.

It is suggested by The Star that sources have suggested that it may take an offer worth double that in January or the summer after.

Sheffield United look to have learned their lesson after losing Dominic Calvert-Lewin to the Blues earlier in his career.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink will now be in charge of Jebbison throughout this season, and the Dutchman could take him to the next level given his experience.

Watching closely.

Given the arrival of Salomon Rondon on deadline day, missing out on this move doesn’t look to be too bad.

Jebbsion is clearly one for the future, and although he could learn something from our three experienced attackers, it is best for him to be out and playing.

Shining in League One shouldn’t put too much more value on his asking price, and £10million should be more than enough.

One thing the Toffees won’t do is overspend given their restrictions, but that could also stop them from paying over the odds.

Marcel Brands and his team will be watching closely, now it is time for Jebbison to go out and prove himself when the pressure is on.
