Charlie Nicholas destroys Richarlison after Everton clash v Brighton
Charlie Nicholas has taken aim at Everton forward Richarlison over his behaviour in the 2-0 win over Brighton.
The Brazilian wanted to take the penalty that Dominic Calvert-Lewin dispatched, and wasn’t best pleased to not get that chance.
Nicholas believes that the strops were simply embarrassing and that he ended up with pie on his face in the end.

Speaking on the Where’s Jeff Podcast, Nicholas destroyed the Brazilian for his strops during the game at the AMEX.
“His behaviour was rash and childish,” he said.
“I think the way that he kept stropping on about it, but my oh my did Calvert-Lewin not just take the pressure off with an absolute sweet finish.
“He should have just gone right up to Richarlison with a custard pie right on his chin.”
Typical.
We all want to see that eagerness to get on the scoresheet and step up at the biggest moments for the Toffees.
What isn’t nice to see are the strops and kick-offs that follow, that is when it starts to negatively impact the team.
Richarlison is known for his emotional responses, and no one can ever question how much this means to him at Goodison Park.
Nicholas is right though, most of it was simply not necessary and hopefully, he can learn from his mistake in the future.
Calvert-Lewin will continue until he misses one, and then he could finally get his chance, then he has to take it.
