Prince Abdullah confirms Everton had bid rejected for Daniel Jebbison
Sheffield United owner and chairman Prince Abdullah has confirmed that his club received an offer for Daniel Jebbison from Everton.
Speaking to the Sheffield United Way podcast, the Blades owner revealed that the club rejected the offer for the 18-year-old forward despite the fact they were “desperate” to sell players.
Abdullah believes that Jebbison is the “future of the club”, and that was why he turned down the advances from the Toffees who were said to have offered £5million [TEAMtalk].

Abdullah said: “We were in desperate need to sell some players to cover the deficit [of relegation last season], but we held on to our best players.
“We got an offer from Everton for Jebbison but refused to sell him because we think he will be the future of the club.”
Will Everton go back in for Jebbison?
The 18-year-old made four Premier League appearances last season and scored a goal at Goodison Park.
He has also been described as a “shining light” by Micah Richards, and was clearly a player who Everton wanted to buy [Sky Sports 16/05/2021] via Yorkshire Live].
£5million is quite a bit of money for a young striker with very few senior appearances.

We wouldn’t be surprised if the Toffees return to the Blades with another offer for Jebbison, who has moved to Burton Albion on loan, but it sounds as if Abdullah is not selling.
Of course, if the Blades don’t win promotion from the Championship, then you would think he might have to reconsider his stance.
So, Jebbison could be a player for Toffees fans to keep an eye on in the coming windows.
