Stan Collymore believes that Everton will beat Burnley
Stan Collymore has revealed his Premier League predictions for the coming weekend, and he thinks Everton will beat Burnley 2-0.
The Toffees take on the Clarets at Goodison Park on Monday night, and the former Liverpool forward is predicting a comfortable win for Rafa Benitez’s side on his Twitter account.
Everton have started the season well and ended August with a 2-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion, and Collymore can see a repeat scoreline.
Collymore makes a safe prediction.
Given that the Toffees have scored at least two goals in every game so far, it is probably safe to suggest that they will do the same again.
If Dominic Calvert-Lewin is fit, then we can see him scoring at least one as the Toffees look to potentially jump into the top four, depending on other results.
The Clarets have scored just two goals all season, so we can see why the pundit believes that Everton will keep a clean sheet, and the potential return of Ben Godfrey should help that.
Seamus Coleman has also been classed as likely fit to play, so the Toffees should be pretty much at full strength and Goodison under the lights with the Sky cameras there should prove too much for Burnley [Liverpool Echo].
Benitez’s side have started the season well, and we can see that continuing on Monday, so we agree with Collymore’s prediction.
