Alan Myers: Everton exit still agreed for James Rodriguez
Alan Myers has shared that no deal has yet been agreed for Everton to sell James Rodriguez to a club in Qatar.
The Sky Sports journalist has reported that discussions are ongoing as the Colombian looks to seal an exit from Goodison Park.
It has been widely reported that Rodriguez is in Qatar after jetting out of the United Kingdom this morning for the move.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Myers shared the news alongside a warning to all fans reacting to the updates.
“James’ discussions with a Qatari club are ongoing but nothing agreed at this point,” he said.
“I’d suggest understanding the whole picture before judging anyone over this move if indeed it does happen.”
Closing in.
Although nothing has been agreed, Rodriguez surely wouldn’t have been allowed to jet out of the country if nothing was close.
It could be a case of simply cutting ties mutually and getting his huge wages off the bill, allowing all parties to move on.
Having said that, Everton are entitled to request a fee for their player, regardless if he wants to leave or not.
It wouldn’t be a huge fee, but it would give them something to work with alongside his wages as they look to ease worries of Financial Fair Play.
With Rodriguez said to be out of the country already, it looks as though that agreement may be very close, and it is likely for the best.
