James Rodriguez hoping to join club in Qatar
Everton attacker James Rodriguez has made it clear that he would like to join a club in Qatar, according to Phil Kirkbride.
It has been heavily reported that the playmaker and club are both trying to find an exit from Merseyside.
Although that failed during the regular transfer window, it appears as though a resolution has finally been reached with talks opened.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Kirkbride shared that Rodriguez is hoping to get a deal done as soon as possible.
“James Rodriguez hoping to join a club in Qatar,” he wrote.
Good riddance.
This has been brewing ever since Rafa Benitez arrived at Goodison Park.
It is well reported that the Spaniard didn’t get along with Rodriguez during their time together at Real Madrid, and although that was supposedly put behind them – there has been no sight of the playmaker.
Despite injuries to Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin against Aston Villa, Rodriguez didn’t even make the bench to make an impact in the 3-0 defeat.
Based on that, it could be said that these talks were already open and he was waiting to jet out of the United Kingdom to get a deal over the line.
He looks to have got that wish and the sooner this move is confirmed, the better it will be for all parties this season.
Everton won’t have to pay his monster wages anymore, and it will also help ease the fears of Financial Fair Play going into the January window.
