James Rodriguez lands in UAE to seal Everton exit
Everton playmaker James Rodriguez has landed in Dubai in order to seal his exit, according to Pipe Sierra.
The Colombian jetted out of the United Kingdom overnight, with the identity of the club currently unknown.
It has been reported that the Toffees and Rafa Benitez have given the green light for the exit to be sealed this weekend.

Writing on his personal Twitter account earlier this morning, Sierra shared the flight was only three hours away – meaning it has now landed.
“James Rodríguez’s flight will land in Dubai in three hours,” he wrote.
“I can confirm that the Colombian midfielder is very close to arriving at a club, at the moment unknown, of the UAE Pro League.”
Good riddance.
There won’t be many Everton fans too outraged with this decision given his attitude and commitment over the past few months.
Rodriguez clearly doesn’t want to be on Merseyside, and that has been the case since Carlo Ancelotti left to return to Real Madrid.
Benitez doesn’t have the best of relationships with the South American, and his zero appearances this season prove that indefinitely.
The huge wages of Rodriguez will hopefully be cleared, although it is unknown whether it is a permanent or loan move initially.
We can assume that the attacker has arrived at the club and has all but finalised the move, although nothing has come from the club as of yet.
That could come at any moment, keep your eyes peeled – although it would be no surprise to see this one drag on just as it did with numerous moves mooted in the regular transfer window.
