Everton could be readying a January swoop for Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek.
That’s according to the Liverpool Echo, who share that a move for a new midfielder could be on the cards for Rafa Benitez.

Despite those financial worries slowly fading, it is shared that it would likely be a loan move over a permanent deal.
Van de Beek was denied the chance to move to Goodison Park, and right now he must be questioning why.
After being given the chance against Young Boys in the Champions League, he was dragged off early because of the red card handed to Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
That shows just how far down the pecking order the Dutchman is under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and he must be begging to leave in order to get more football.
Small chance?
Given that the move was rejected over the summer, it is hard to see that change regardless of his playing time.

Rafa Benitez isn’t working with much money and a permanent signing he can transform and mould to his preference could be much better.
Van de Beek has shined at times during his spell at Old Trafford, with the likes of Owen Hargreaves and Rio Ferdinand blown away – labelling his displays as “perfect” at one stage.
With the major development of Rodriguez leaving confirmed, a move for van de Beek may suddenly become very plausible.
