Everton Super Fans want Jean-Philippe Gbamin sold
This is part of a regular series from our panel of Everton Super Fans. Each week, Super Fans from our Goodison News Facebook page will deliver their verdicts on the biggest talking points and news stories around Goodison Park.
Everton midfielder Jean-Philippe Gbamin was ruled out of the game against Norwich, much to the annoyance of the fans.
The 25-year-old, who’s had rotten luck with injuries, had a thigh strain [The Bobble] in training ahead of Saturday’s game and was ruled out by Rafa Benitez in the build-up to the game.
It may not have cost the Toffees any points as they still beat Norwich 2-0, but Benitez had to field a bench that compromised of a number of young and inexperienced players.

The fans were having none of the injury reasons anymore and it seems to be the straw that broke the camel’s back.
Their patience has run thin with the midfielder and they believe he should be sold.
Here’s what they said:

Time to go?
Since joining for £25million [BBC Sport] in 2019, he hasn’t exactly set the world alight on Merseyside.
He’s made just four first team appearances in two years and no matter what he’s sold for, he still go down as one of the biggest transfer flops in recent history for the Toffees.
Let’s hope that once he recovers from his injury, he can actually go on a run of consecutive senior appearances without picking up something else on the way.
However, the chances of that happening are few so it’s best that the club cut their losses and cash in on him.
