Everton target Jorge Sanchez speaks out about transfer speculation
Reported Everton target Jorge Sanchez has been speaking about the rumours that saw him linked with a move to Europe.
According to Goal, the Toffees wanted to sign the 23-year-old Mexican right-back from Club America, and he has revealed how flattered he was to hear that clubs from Europe were keen on him.
Speaking to Medio Tiempo, the Mexican international made it very clear that he loved hearing his name linked with clubs in Europe though he doesn’t mention the Toffees specifically.

He said: “I must continue with the same desire to transcend, and it motivates me to hear my name in Europe, which is a dream I want to fulfil.”
Sanchez to the move to Goodison Park?
Well, it is very clear that the Toffees need another right-back as Seamus Coleman has suffered a slight injury and has missed the last two games.
The Toffees have failed to win in those matches, and against Aston Villa in the Premier League, Rafael Benitez had to play Ben Godfrey out of position.
So, a new right-back is certainly something that the Toffees need to be thinking about, and we see no reason why they shouldn’t make a move for Sanchez.

He is only young but has international experience and has made 119 senior appearances for his club.
If the Toffees were to sign him, he would be probably be arriving as a cheap backup for Coleman, but anything would be better than constantly having to play Godfrey out of position or Jonjoe Kenny.
So, this could be a transfer to keep your eyes on in January as Sanchez clearly wants to come and play in Europe, and Merseyside could be the ideal place for him.
In other Everton news, one manager still wants a Premier League job after the Toffees were linked with him before they brought in Benitez.
