Jordan Pickford returns - Confirmed Everton XI v Norwich

Jordan Pickford has returned to the Everton XI to take on Norwich today.

The England international, who has been labelled “sensational” by Kevin Campbell, missed the last two games due to injury and was replaced by Asmir Begovic who failed to keep clean sheets in either contest.

Rafa Benitez will not have Dominic Calvert Lewin’s or Richarlison’s services to count on and would need Salomon Rondon to deliver the goods today.

It appears to be a back four with Michael Keane and Yerry Mina at centre-back and Ben Godfrey playing to their right.

Must win

After a good start to the season, Everton’s recent results have been disappointing and Benitez will be hoping for a response here today.

They looked competitive against Aston Villa, but the way they folded was embarrassing, to say the least.

A reaction is needed from the Toffees players today and they would be delighted to have their home fans screaming and urging them forward.

A packed Goodison Park crowd has done wonders for Everton teams of yesteryears, and they would play a big role in guiding the side to victory today.

Norwich have started the season badly so it is the perfect time to play them.

Their heads will have dropped after some woeful recent performances and Benitez would have his size pumped up and eager to go out and deliver three points today.
