Alex Iwobi could start for Everton v Manchester United
Alex Iwobi could be handed a rare Everton start against Manchester United should Rafa Benitez opt for a more conservative approach, according to The Liverpool Echo.
The 25-year-old has started just three games in the league this season and throughout the entirety of the last campaign, was named in Carlo Ancelotti’s starting eleven on only 17 occasions.
However, a change in playing style against one of the title contenders could see him coming back into the starting lineup.

Right move?
Demarai Gray and Andros Townsend have both started the season strongly so dropping them would make little sense.
The Toffees are likely to spend most of the game without the ball and will probably not be creating chances at the same rate as they would against the lower-half sides.
So, having players like Gray and Townsend who can be devastating on the break is a must for Benitez.

Should he plan on ditching his 4-4-2 for a 4-2-3-1 then there’s a good chance of Iwobi coming in.
The former Arsenal attacker can play as a number 10 just as well and could be deployed there by Benitez.
He’s proven in the past how he can run beyond centre-backs to wreak havoc in the opposition defence and we won’t be surprised if the Spaniard asks if to do something similar next weekend.
Off the ball, the 25-year-old will offer a lot more than Townsend and Gray and would help close down the Red Devils more.
There’s a good chance that with Iwobi in, the likes of Raphael Varane and Victor Lindelof will have a hard time at building from the back.
