Lewis Dobbin reacts on Twitter after Everton win vs Norwich
Everton youngster Lewis Dobbin took to Twitter to express his reaction after he made his debut against Norwich on Saturday in the Premier League.
The Toffees won 2-0, with goals coming from Andros Townsend and Abdoulaye Doucoure. In the 89th minute, Dobbin was introduced with Alex Iwobi making way for him.
On Saturday, the youngster took to Twitter to express his heartfelt reaction.
The Blues youngster then reacted to a clip on social media where it was filmed he was coming off the bench.
On Sunday, he posted another tweet for the Everton fans, saying: “Even better than how I dreamt it,” he said.
Promising talent.
The 18-year-old is a highly-rated young talent, and Rafael Benitez has already spoken highly of him.
Recently, the Spaniard said that Dobbin has impressed everyone in training, stating that he has got “desire and commitment” to succeed.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin remains the first-choice striker at the club, while Benitez bolstered the forward department in the summer by signing Salomon Rondon on a free transfer.
Ellis Simms is another exciting young striker who is also seen as a top talent in the Everton academy. However, will take time for these young talents to play regularly for the senior team.
Everton operated on a tight budget this summer, but Benitez has done wonders with the players he has signed.
The former Real Madrid boss loves to work with young players, and the likes of Dobbin and Simms can expect to get more opportunities in the future to represent the senior team, should they continue their progress.
In other Everton news, one fringe player could be set for a role against Manchester United.
