Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey open to Everton transfer

Juventus are ready to sell Aaron Ramsey with the midfielder keen on a move to Everton, according to TuttoJuve.

The Italian football website, which is part of the TuttoMercatoWeb network, reports that Arsenal, Newcastle and West Ham are also potential destinations for the 30-year-old but he would prefer a move to Goodison Park.

It is understood that Ramsey is seeking severance pay in order to leave Juventus but the Italian giants are not keen on the idea of doing that.

Everton

TuttoJuve reports the Serie A club could instead sell Ramsey for just £4.3million and offer him a percentage of his transfer fee.

Get him inon one condition

As long as he’s affordable and doesn’t ask for ridiculously big wages, Ramsey is a player who we’d like to see arrive at Goodison Park.

Unfortunately, it seems as though Ramsey will be demanding a large wage.

As reported by BBC Sport, the Wales international is earning a massive £400,000-a-week on his contract at Juventus.

Ramsey has only started one Serie A match for Juventus this season yet he’s probably one of the highest-paid players in the whole world.

It’s an extortionate amount of money and it’s no surprise that Juventus are ready to sell him at such a discounted rate.

Everton

But their loss could be Everton’s gain if he doesn’t ask for the world to join the Blues.

Rafa Benitez’s signings in the summer have so far worked out with Demarai Gray and Andros Townsend seemingly reviving their careers on Merseyside.

Ramsey could do the same and there’s no doubt that our central midfield area needs a refresh.

Someone with over 260 Premier League appearances, three FA Cups and a Serie A title on his CV would definitely be an upgrade on some of the players Benitez currently has employed at Goodison.
