Everton Super Fans blast Jean-Philippe Gbamin after drink-driving incident
This is part of a regular series from our panel of Everton Super Fans. Each week, Super Fans from our Goodison News Facebook page will deliver their verdicts on the biggest talking points and news stories around Goodison Park.

Everton midfielder Jean-Philippe Gbamin has been banned from driving for 14 months and fined £25,000 by a court for drink-driving.
According to Sportsmail, the Ivory Coast international, 26, failed a breath test after a collision near his home, with tests revealing he was one and a half times the alcohol limit.
Gbamin will be offered a place on a drink-driving rehabilitation course and was also ordered to pay £275 in costs and surcharges.
We asked our esteemed panel of Everton Super Fans over on Facebook what they think about him getting banned and whether it could affect his Toffees career.
Here is what they had to say.
Blow?
Everton will definitely be disciplining Gbamin for his recklessness, and he should know better than to break the law and put his safety at risk.
He has made just four appearances for the club since joining from Mainz 05 in the summer of 2019, and the last development would not have done him any favours with the fans.
The midfielder has played once this term, starting and ending the League Cup win over Huddersfield Town until a tooth abscess and a thigh problem ruled him out of action and saw him miss all the games since then.
He is back in training ahead of Saturday’s trip to Manchester United, though, and he could make Rafa Benitez’s matchday squad for the game.
Gbamin cannot afford to be in the news for all the wrong reasons, and he needs to get his career back on track after going the last two seasons with much action.
He is a quality player without a doubt, but he needs to get over his injury woes quickly and prove himself on the pitch.
In other Everton news, the Toffees are making progress in talks with striking sensation over new deal.
