Everton winger Demarai Gray should be in England squad says Trevor Sinclair
Trevor Sinclair has suggested on TalkSport that Everton winger Demarai Gray should have been in the England squad for their upcoming games in October.
The popular football pundit also feels that West Ham forward Jarrod Bowen could also ask questions about why he is not being picked in the national squad after an impressive start to the season.
Gareth Southgate named his 23-man squad yesterday for the games against Andorra and Hungary in October.

The likes of Fikayo Tomori, Ollie Watkins, Phil Foden and Aaron Ramsdale are being included.
Townsend was full of praise for Gray, saying he has been superb for the Toffees. He feels that Gray should have been considered as well.
“Demarai Gray has hit the running. He’s superb,” said Sinclair to TalkSport.
Impressive start
Gray joined Everton during the summer transfer window from Bayer Leverkusen on a three-year deal for a fee of around £1.7m.
The former Leicester City winger has hit the ground running at the Merseyside club and has quickly emerged as an important player under Rafael Benitez so far.
The 25-year-old has scored three goals and provided one assist in the six Premier League games so far, but his contribution to the side goes beyond that.

Mainly used as a left-winger he has put in commendable defensive shifts, registering 1.2 tackles per game on average.
If Gray continues to impress, Southgate can longer ignore him. However, it is also fair that the England manager needs to have a hard look at him for a consistent period of time before giving him an opportunity.
One player whose place could come under threat in the national squad is Jadon Sancho who has struggled badly since moving to Manchester United on a big-money transfer from Borussia Dortmund this summer.
In other Everton news, this Red Devils star could miss Saturday’s clash after a Friday fitness update.
